The University of Wisconsin at Madison offers Independent Learning Courses. Through Independent Learning you can continue your education via distance education courses without having to attend classes or workshops. Such courses are comfortable as you can complete assignments at your leisure and send to instructors for evaluation and critique. Distance education courses are open for university credit that you transfer to your degree program. You can start any course at any time, and take up to a year to complete each course. Many students find that the courses are accepted as transfer credits to satisfy degree requirements either at the University of Wisconsin or at other institutions.
