Popular Culture and American Politics. Here you can explore how, and to what effect, popular culture shapes American mediated political reality. The recommended minimum time for completion is 16 weeks. The course consists of 16 lessons and 1 final exam.
Law in American Society. The course concerns law as a process through which social problems are addressed in the United States. The recommended minimum time for completion is 12 weeks. The course consists of 12 lessons and 1 final exam.
Introduction to International Relations. It studies resource availability, international economics, international security and peace (imperialism, war, diplomacy, the balance of power, international law and international organization.). It is a writing-emphasis course. The course consists of 10 lessons and 1 final exam.
American Political Thought. Learn major themes and ideas in American political thought related to the development of American political institutions, values, and practices with this course. It is a writing-emphasis course. The recommended minimum time for completion is 12 weeks. The course consists of 11 lessons and 1 final exam.
Contemporary Middle Eastern Politics – governments and movements in the Middle East, their characteristics, bases, and interrelationships. The recommended minimum time for completion is 11 weeks. The course consists of 10 lessons and 1 final exam.

Students may register for this course anytime. Admission to the University of Tennessee is not required. Each course consists of 3 semester hours.
