Introduction to Nursing. The course consists of 2 semester hours. It studies history, philosophy, and scope of nursing practice with emphasis on the holism of persons, standards for professional, practice, and an overview of the nursing process and nursing theories. This is a correspondence course; the online version is also available. It consists of 12 lessons, 1 midterm exam, 1 final exam.
