Medical Transcription Certificate Program (MTCP) emphases difficulty, speed, accuracy, complexity within major medical specialties.The advanced course is designed to train students in the harder-to-understand, difficult dictation with emphasis on spend, accuracy, and formatting of reports. Such Certificate verifies that student has been formally trained to complete complex reports within major medical specialties.

Certificate prerequisite: students must have earned their career diploma in Medical Transcription.

For successful completion of the course students need access to a computer to complete this program. Penn Foster recommends the following as minimum specifications: Pentium II or better processor, using Microsoft Windows XP or later.  You will also need to have access to the Internet, an email account, and Microsoft Office 2007 to complete portions of this program.
