Events & Recreation Management – helps event managers, planners and their clients produce outstanding events that meet and exceed both client and guest expectations. Every special event requires attention to the same key areas: planning, scheduling, organization, marketing, and legal issues. Event management is like performing a high-wire act without a safety net – once the event starts, there are no second chances. It is all done in one take, and there are no dress rehearsals. It is impossible to predict how guests and suppliers will interact and react when you bring them together, still it’s possible to organize, plan and be prepared for the unexpected. The program contains 24 credits.
