Following Independent Study Program enables individuals to achieve their educational goals withouthaving to give up other aspects of their life. This program allows students to participate in a quality educational process and to choose where and when to study.
Introduction to Women’s Studies. The course serves two purposes: (1) to train students in feminist perspective-taking, and (2) to introduce them to issues affecting women’s lives using an interdisciplinary framework.
Gender and Society. This course discovers evolution of relationships between sex roles, culture, and societal institutions and processes, including an analysis of sexual stratification.
Sexism and Racism in America. Here you can learn about dynamics of prejudice and discrimination in terms of sex and race; special attention to analysis of strategies for improving relations.
Each course consists of 3 credit hours. The minimum time required to complete a course is 12 weeks.
