Following Independent Study Program enables individuals to achieve their educational goals without having to give up other aspects of their life. This program allows students to participate in a quality educational process and to choose where and when to study.

Introduction to Physics. It is a first course in physics, open to students from all areas. This course is recommended for students in liberal arts, architecture, industrial technology, geological sciences, plant biology, and premedicine. The course discovers mechanics of solids and liquids. Prerequisite: students should have high school level algebra and trigonometry, but no calculus required. Course consists of 10 lessons and 2 exams. IS/CCE

Introduction to Physics. This course studies electricity, magnetism, heat, thermodynamics, waves, and sound. Prerequisite: successful completion of the course Introduction to Physics or General Physics. This course is a continuation of the previous one. Course consists of 10 lessons and 2 exams. Course consists of 12 lessons and 2 exams. IS/CCE

Introduction to Physics. This course includes light; relativity; and quantum, atomic, and nuclear physics. Course consists of 10 lessons and 2 exams. IS/CCE

General Physics I. This course is about classical physics with calculus and vectors. It examines such topics, as Newtonian mechanics, rotational dynamics, and gravitation. This course consists of 1 exam. CCE

General Physics II. Course topics: fluids, simple harmonic motion, wave mechanics and phenomena, thermodynamics, electrostatics. This course consists of 1 exam. CCE

General Physics III. Course topics: capacitance, electric current and circuits, magnetism and magnetic fields, electric induction, A.C. circuits, electromagnetic waves, geometrical optics, interference, and diffraction of light. This course consists of 1 exam. CCE

Each course consists of 4 credit hours.
