Introduction to Geology. It is the course in an introductory geology for majors and nonmajors. Here you can study the Earth, its materials, its characteristics, its dynamic processes, and how it relates to people. The course meets MAPS requirement for natural science: non-lab. This course examines how the Earth's interior and surface, the atmosphere and climate, the oceans, and life interact and have changed over the immensity of geologic time.
