Cultural Anthropology. With this course you can learn major concepts and methods in the study of culture; survey of crosscultural similarities and differences in subsistence, social organization, economic, political, and religious institutions; language, ideology and arts. Moreover, you’ll discover contributions of anthropology to resolving contemporary human problems. The recommended minimum time for completion is 17 weeks. The course consists of 16 lessons and 1 final exam. (3 credits)
Anthropology: Paleoanthropology – provides intensive survey of the human fossil record from the earliest hominid remains to the earliest origins of modern human form. Prerequisite: Anthropology: Human Origins Course or consent of instructor. The recommended minimum time for completion is 21 weeks. The course consists of 20 lessons and 1 final exam. (4 credits)
