Bircham International University provides adult degree programs leading to a distance education university degree at professional, undergraduate and graduate levels through sound updated curricula and an innovative distance learning method of instruction.

Oceanography & Marine Science. The emphasis of this program is on the principles that govern the oceans, the sea currents, the water composition and marine life. The program deals with aspects of physical, geological and chemical oceanography as well as their relation with the marine ecosystems and the organisms that inhabit them. Besides it explores how organisms interact within their individual marine ecosystems, including the human activity impact on oceans, pollution, oceanic dead zones and coral reefs. The course contains 24 credits.
