Basic Electricity. Here you can learn the essentials of basic electrical theory. Basic Electricity is for non-technical and beginning technical personnel, as it is using only elementary mathematics. Non-technical supervisors who must deal with technicians, fields or activity based on electrical phenomena will benefit from taking this class. Requirements: basic mathematics or the equivalent is desirable but not required.
Hydrology I, II – teaches basic hydrologic science, including such topics as hydrologic measurements and data, precipitation, infiltration, evapotranspiration, statistical methods, rainfall runoff relations, stream flow, and hydrologic issues such as floods, drought, and snowmelt. This course has been approved by the American Meteorological Society for satisfying their core requirements. This course may appear to be useful for people who are interested in water control structure design work, such as the measurement and interpretation of stream flow. Requirements: college algebra and physics, elementary meteorology, statistics and engineering are desirable.
