Botany & Plant Science. In terms of this program you can familiarize yourself the function and structure of plants, algae and fungi, their ecology and evolution, classification, physiology, development and genetics. This program covers topics in plant cell and tissues, biotechnology and genetic engineering in plants. Besides, it reviews plant diseases and pathology; the bacterial, fungal and viral agents that cause them; and the way in which plant disease and epidemics are caused and are controlled. The course contains 48 credits.
