Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). With the help of this course you can study philosophy, diagnostic and therapeutic techniques of Oriental Medicine and TCM. The aim of this program is to allow the student to integrate the concepts and techniques of Oriental Medicine into naturopathic practice. The program applies TCM principles to the human body and has a deep understanding of the Oriental modes of diagnosis. In accordance with the program structure, after making a thorough diagnosis, students will apply treatment principles and techniques to many disease patterns for rebalancing the Qi of the patient. Techniques learned will include, acupressure, moxibustion, tui na, Chinese herbs and nutrition. The course contains 24 credits.
