The Center for Independent and Distance Learning offers Semester-based Independent Study College Courses. This courses are on a semester schedule, have firm due dates for assignments and tests, unlike other Independent Study courses.
Introductory Nutrition. This course examines basic composition of nutrients and accessory factors required for adequate human nutrition. It applies nutritional principles to the planning of normal and special dietary regimen. The course consists of 12 lessons and 4 exams completed online and 6 written assignments. In terms of this course exams are autograded. It is an on-line course, which contains 3 credit hours.
