| Art for the Elementary Teacher | Art for the Elementary Teacher – the course, was designed to introduce the important concepts of art in the elementary classroom. Course topics include creativity, the basics of Discipline Based Art Education, usage of different media, lesson plans, developmental levels, and methods of evaluation. There will be written as well as hands on art assignments in a variety of art media. The art assignments enable students to become familiar with artistic possibilities for the classroom.
The course consists of 3 semester hours.
