Principles of Management. Here you can learn about business environment; planning; organizing; leading and controlling.
Math for Business and Finance. This class discovers percentages; discounts; interest; insurance; present worth; installment buying; pricing; depreciation; sinking funds; investments; use of symbols and their applications, equations and formulas; importance of statistics.
Computer Applications. Here you can learn about hardware and software; computer networkspersonal computer systems; information systems; legal and ethical dilemmas. Software applications include creating a resume, spreadsheet, and slide presentation.
Financial Accounting. The course analyzes transactions; completing the accounting cycle; merchandising businesses; inventories, assets and liabilities; and corporations, stocks, bonds, and cash flow.
Economics I. The course explores macroeconomics; monetary systems; international factors; the cost of living; short run economic fluctuations.
Managerial Accounting. It is an introduction to managerial accounting; analyses: C-V-P and management; decentralized operations; differential analysis and product pricing; budgeting and performance evaluation; and capital investment analysis, and cost activities. Course prerequisite: the completion of the course Financial Accounting.
Human Resources Management. The course provides the overview of Human Resources Management (HRM), as it’s understood today. It illustrates the dynamic interaction of the personnel functions with each other and with the objectives of an organization. Prerequisite: completion of the course Principles of Management.
Business English – studies how to write business letters, forms, client records, and memos; organization, grammar, punctuation, and sentence and paragraph construction; coherent paragraphs, well-organized documents, and purpose-focused materials; accurate, attractive, and effective final copies.
Business Law I. The course explores American court practice and procedure; torts; employment law; international law; environmental law; contract law.
